Ian Auzenne will be leaving KPEL FM morning show but will still be doing sports as needed.

Good for Ian. He's too good for this market.

I just happened to be listening to KPEL this morning when he announced it. It was touching to hear Bernadette getting emotional about him.

Best of luck to you Ian, and your family! We will see (hear) you in the fall!

Damn, I thoroughly enjoyed him in on the morning show. He was great at tactfully knocking down bad takes by either guests or Bernie. Also excellent at interviews.

Easily was the best and commentator around this area. Not even close. Lafayette radio has gone to sh--t. Best of luck to him.

If there's anyone I'd love to see be Jay's replacement as voice for the Cajuns, it would be Ian. Really sad to see him go. He's the best we have in this market for sure.
