How well do you think Matt Deggs did overall in sports calendar year 2021-2022 ?

I voted solid 8. If 8 1/2 were an option I would have went with that

Does anyone know when we might hear of some movement in the transfer portal, or other guys with eligibility remaining deciding to hang it up?

    Around draft time.

    Known openings, vacancies...

    Just a guess.

Id imagine if some are leaving they would be in the portal now being exit interviews were last week. I saw earlier today D1 baseball noted 2200 kids were in the portal. Please take a second to wrap your head around that.

Hearing that Chipper Menard & Bobby Lada are in the portal.

    Damn, word spreads fast..

Our biggest hurdles right now are: seeing if Brock gets drafted in the top 10 rounds of the draft and the potential for a big pitching injury.. Next couple of weeks will be crucial

I'll never give up on Chipper and his spin rates. Best of luck to him and Bobby if they do leave.

    Chipper on is special.

Bobby can play this game at the D1 level at a smaller school and I think we are looking for Riconnes to make a big jump next season. As jay stated if he hits .240 it’s a win for us. He is special with his defense and no on is unseating debarge at SS. So I get Bobby leaving. I am sorry to see chipper go though. He had a real chance to help next year

Someone can withdraw his name from the portal if he does not like the response. However, Coach Deggs seems to be on the mindset that if you are not 100 percent sure you want to be here, it is best you move on. Likely we don't see either of those two guys again.

He wasn’t even wanting to be here this year. Don’t think he gets a second chance this time around

I think Lada was supposedly leaving last season too. Seems more likely this off-season though. Good luck to him.

Ask Ben Fitz what happened when he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. Deggs helped him out the door. All in or all out is Deggs motto!
