Banged up lineup and a pitching staff held together by Scotch tape. Big time fight this weekend. Thanks guys for making Cajun fans proud.

Bo Bonds is now a starter, likely the Friday guy depending on the off season.

Congrats to these guys on surpassing expectations.

Yes indeed. But there’s also some guys that may surprise us next season.

I think Bonds and Thuet can both be weekend starters. Ray and Christie have starter potential, as does Rawls. And a guy like Menard could blossom into something special. He has the stuff to do it for sure.

Hammond will be back for the back end of the pen.

Add a few transfers, JUCO or D1, and the signees to compete for starter and bullpen roles and the staff may be better than some are expecting.

Seth Thibodeaux did a really good job with what he had to work with this season. He took a group of relievers…and made it into a regional staff.

Bo Bonds "heard something pop" in his arm. Hope not but if TJ..we have returning pitchers who can compete on weekend except in a short relief role

You now have a team that transfer pitchers will want to come play for...this season was a huge step in the right direction. Deggs said it and I agree, this team changed the trajectory of the program. I think we will look back very soon to this being the team that started it all.

Kimple had a back issue flare up and Max pulled his hamstring Friday night.

Kimple hit .319 with 9 HRs as the primary DH, and occasional left fielder all year.

Max hit .253 and stole 21 bases (and played great defense in CF) in 44 games as the teams lead off hitter for the majority of the season.

Both were huge losses this weekend. And sadly for Kimple, this was his senior season and was unable to play in a regional as a Cajun

Started the year with a FB championship, ended with stick sports championships. Well done.
