Correct he was taking until the guy showed he could throw a strike.

The pitcher had to throw a fastball for a strike. His missed 5 pitches with off speed curves and sliders. Everyone and his grandma knew a fastball was coming down the middle. By your post, you've just told me you don't know situational hitting.
