What a fun season this was. This team found its identity and brought back the standard to this program. I couldn’t be prouder.

Not having Max and Kimple really hurt. That was a difference maker for sure.

We’ll learn from this turnaround & make adjustments…can’t wait!

The Ragin Cajuns are back. Thanks Coach Deggs and thanks Seniors

We’ll see how many hitters we can keep. Draft and transfer portal are lurking. We need pretty much a whole new pitching staff as well. Deggs is setting Omaha as the goal for next season. We’ll see. I had fun this year.

Omaha is the goal every year.

Not having Kimp and Max was a big deal for sure.

The transfer portal scares the hell out of me!

Nice improvement in the last half of the season. One thing about to say about this team is they were fun to watch with all of the havoc they created on the bases (other than today.) If we can scrape together a pitching staff, we may be OK next year. I really like the progress Kyle Debarge made at the plate as the season went on. He was already a super short stop on the defensive side. I just hope we don't lose very many players (especially #24) to the portal.

Yeah and me winning the Powerball is the goal as well. Doesn’t mean it’s likely.

We don't have to worry about anyone stealing our pitchers.

I don’t think the portal is concerning. We lost starters to it last year and everyone on this team saw where they were at the end of the regular season.

I’ve doubted Deggs being the guy off and on the past couple seasons. Those days are over for me. I’m all in on Deggs. We’re undeniably better than we were when he took over, and we have a fearless group of players who punched the National #5 seed in the face and easily could have won Saturday night. I’m already ready for 2023 season!
