Great effort. Especially with two big contributors out injured for us. We could of course nitpick a few things that would have maybe made a difference. But in reality, this team is playing above their head. I’m so grateful to be hanging off the edge of my seat every pitch the last 5 games and watching us go right at top teams like kamikaze. I’m getting 2013 vibes right now. It’s probably wishful thinking but it’s how I’m feeling.

Not happy we lost, but we were every bit their equal. We had them rattled. Their bullpen was better than ours.

We had their ace reevaluating his ability. But you are right. That lefty they brought in settled the ship and controlled the game. After Bonds we don’t have that coming out of our bullpen when facing a team as good as A&M offensively.
