I was just watching on TV but from the little they showed, he didn’t look good after he stepped on 1st. Total speculation on my part but it looked like a hamstring. Those injuries are never good.

Amazing what this team has accomplished.

And now they go into tomorrow facing the #5 team in the country on their home field. And likely without both of the guys that have batted lead off for them all year.

You would think the Cinderella aspect that this team has displayed over the last two weeks should come crashing down, but the bottom 3 guys in the order today, Willis, Veillon and Lafleur, who have played pretty sparingly combined to go 5-9 tonight. With a triple, 2 homers, 2 walks, 3 runs scored, and 4 RBIs.

I’m not putting ANYTHING past this group. And like someone said earlier in the thread, they are now playing with house money. It’s been a joy to watch and I hope I get to see more and more of it.
