Here are a couple of stats that will mean absolutely nothing going into this weekend.

I felt this team reminded me of the 2015 team from early on. It is eerie how close some of the stats are, not all but some. Stats through 57 games.
My stats comparison is from 2002 to 2022. On the year-by-year comparison. The 27 triples are the most by any Cajun team through 57 games. The 134 stolen bases are second only to the 2002 team that had 138 stolen bases through 57 games.
Only three teams had 500+ strikeouts through 57 games on the pitching side. This year's team-517, 2021-548, and 2017-554. That 2017 pitching staff was pretty special.
Individual hitting the second half of the season.
Not bad having seven guys above 300, and four players above 350.
Need Roc to be Roc this weekend. Wasn’t himself last weekend at the dish.
Melrock never ceases to amaze. You fly above the drama, do serious work and seldom get the recognition you deserve.
It is very special. I loved all the teams, but 2015 and this year's team has an "it" factor that is hard to describe. Grinders more so because no one expected them to be here this weekend.
I have no clue what will happen this weekend, but to get to know these guys and the seniors and their parents is special.
