State Police are still investigating a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday evening at the corner of La. 343 and La. 699 near Leroy.
The accident occurred around 6 p.m. and two people were taken to a Lafayette hospital with moderate injuries.
Driving the 2008 Chevy pickup was Menard Wise of LeComb, La. Wise was pulling a boat behind his truck, and Rebecca Reynolds was driving a 2000 Volvo.
Reynolds was air lifted to a Lafayette hospital by Air Med of Acadian Ambulance.
It took about an hour for the roads to be cleared.
