"With many players opting to use their extra COVID year, the Cajuns had 96 players on their roster at one point. They had to focus on getting back to the 85-man scholarship limit, so a 12-man class with one transfer accomplished that. So though the 2022 class ranks No. 123 nationally (and No. 7 in the Sun Belt) in the 247Sports Composite, the 12 signings’ average player rating is No. 1 in the conference."
Class rankings really don't make a lot of sense. It is based on how many players are signed. If you have constant turnover and sign a lot of recruits it looks like you are going to do really well. But, just the opposite could happen.
Having the highest average player rating means we got some quality players. I'll take quality over quantity every time.
It's been a decade since we had an air attack .. If the article is true I'm so ready
Our schedule is much easier than last year IMO.
Plus the article highlights how much we have coming back.
10 win season should be doable as long as we take care of business and the new QB is somewhat competent.
Defense should lead us this year mainly with our receivers a close second.
It will come down to QB and new starters on the O line play as to how this team does. Everywhere else should be pretty solid.
