I find it funny that a 2 year starter that Tim Leger himself calls his hardest worker, in the room, that sets the tone, at practice is not on your list. Who was also the leading WR last year prior to the bowl game, that he didn’t play in due to injury. I don’t see him getting beat out. But you always did have something against the kid.
Fleming or Rogers will move to the Slot Receiver position and will start there. Both of there physically attributes fits the slot better than outside. IMO
Trey Amos will be the best CB on the team and will be a starter next year.
Look, Im as optimistic as most of you talking about 10 wins. But the reality is, with all the changes, I think an 8 win season is more likely the top end, and that would be amazing if we get there... all things considered. However.....I honestly would not be shocked if we pulled off 10 wins. It really has more to do with how the breaks fall. I also think that if this team gets 6-7 wins, people will lose their minds. I just hope people can be rational, if that does happen, and understand we are going through a huge transition, despite some of the depth we have coming back.
Yep. My pre-summer guess too. Can’t see any reason not to guess on the one receiver we have that played in every game since his very first natural freshman game here and was a consisted started his true sophomore and covid sophomore years. It would be kinda like not guessing Trahan or Hill on the D. Or penciling in Williams over Smith at RB. Just my opinion.
Amos was a QB in high school. I heard Des say after spring it finally clicked for him and he has next level skills at CB. I never heard him say that about the others.
Yes, LeBlanc will be in the starting line-up unless he has not fully recovered from his surgery.
Amos is a kid Coach Burris believes that other programs will try to pry from the Ragin Cajuns once they see him in a starting role.
I also believe the Cameron George may be someone in the starting line-up come the season opener.
