Amos and Hill with Hiak, Minvielle and Grubbs. It was stated on Coach Wingerter’s FaceBook page the attorney’s also offered LeBlanc but he politely declined the offer. I am guessing probably because he is from an oilfield family and that wouldn’t be a good look for him and his family. JMO

Amos is a kid Coach Burris believes that other programs will try to pry from the Ragin Cajuns once they see him in a starting role.

I also believe the Cameron George may be someone in the starting line-up come the season opener.
Sorry, I meant to Cameron Whitefield.

Instead of Cameron George? Because I’ve heard very good things about his play and ability to move up the depth chart.

Don't sleep on Jymario Peterson from Dr La Salle...I probably butchered his name...when was the last time UL had 2 Lbs over 250 lbs?

J/K…..Unfortunately we are now in a college football setting where we have been relegated to a developmental league for the P5. So damn frustrating.
UL is doing what it can do internally for itself, and this is help facilitate NIL deals for it's on athletes. That protects some of our programs against other G5 programs raiding our athletes. It will not stop P5s from buying players through 2nd and 3rd parties. The only fix for that is one done collectively with changing the requirements of the transfer rule back to it's previous form, or something relatively close to it.

Yes, and I expect Peterson as others mentioned to step up as well. Both had outstanding springs.

I was there too…not sure how he hasn’t seen the field.

He played sparingly, but not enough to keep him from redshirting. He had Manac, Guidry, Riley and then Moncrief ahead of him in the depth chart.

I'll make this prediction...cause there are a couple of outstanding HS QB's playing other positions...we'll see some sort of lateral pass play on special teams, or one of them checking in on O for a trick play... as well as LL2.0 getting some snaps during our first 3 games...which will be blowouts...

I would say that is a fair assessment.
