Shultz and Robertson were incredible tonight. Both delivered us 1 step to the promise land

…..Hope Rob gets great home town write up in tomorrow’s papers……Iwas wondering about the big bounces over the fence at the Tigue…..but the 2 (one by each team)over the 3rd basemen’s head were just crazy!

Schultz looked like he would not get through the 2nd inning. What a gutty outing. Definitely one of the best pitching performances in Cajun history considering the opponent and stakes.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought his his offspeed wasnt good early
And they were getting to the fastball. Started thinking Perrin should of come in to keep them off balance. Credit to the coaches for sticking with him thru that rough patch

One thing I’ve learned about Schultz is that he gives up runs early and then he settles in. Once he settles in he’s almost unhittable. He’s one of the grittiest pitchers we’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot.
