Two Cajuns named to the All SBC 1st Team Baseball
Good news bad news, as expected Carson Roccafort was named to the 1st Team ALL SBC Team as well as Julian Brock. But no other Cajuns were on the 1st or 2nd Team.
Surprised not to see Heath Hood, Conner Kimple or possibly Kyle Debarge listed.
Heath Hood was beat out as newcomer of the year by Max Ryerson from Georgia State and I get that Ryerson and Hood both had great numbers, but Ryerson's power numbers were better than Hood.
Debarge was beat out for Freshman of the year by Austin St. Laurent of App State. St. Laurent and Debarge had fairly similar numbers, St. Laurent had a higher batting average and deserved it, but man Hood and Debarge both had very good 1st seasons with the Cajuns.
