If you hit in Coach Glasco system you will play somewhere.

He's been amazing, but we could have used a decent backup that could still contribute with a bat while he DH.

That will only last for so long. When you get to the point where you are in contention for a championship and the difference between you and the competition is that they can get people out, you change or you lose.

We pitched our way into a regional and then couldn't hit our way out.

And we couldn't pitch our way through championship day either. Not having Landry hurt for certain, but no one on our staff matched up with Thompson anyway.

Correct you still have to get timely hitting. We struggled and only got one hit. If we win G1and don't go into the losers brackets we might have had a shot to win the regional. Playing an extra game and one extra long game hurt the pitching staff. Maybe if we went 7 innings instead of 5 we could have figured her out? I am a realistic person, I doubt we would have. She was to good that day.

Right T, I think I mentioned this before. 3rd base requires a big arm.

A quick reaction and lateral movement is just as important.
