    We pitched our way into a regional and then couldn't hit our way out.

    And we couldn't pitch our way through championship day either. Not having Landry hurt for certain, but no one on our staff matched up with Thompson anyway.

    Correct you still have to get timely hitting. We struggled and only got one hit. If we win G1and don't go into the losers brackets we might have had a shot to win the regional. Playing an extra game and one extra long game hurt the pitching staff. Maybe if we went 7 innings instead of 5 we could have figured her out? I am a realistic person, I doubt we would have. She was to good that day.

    Right T, I think I mentioned this before. 3rd base requires a big arm.
