The pairings are set. Georgia State finishes 7th and will play 10th seed ULM, Little Rock finishes 8th and will play 9th place Appalachian State. These are single elimination games on Tuesday. The highest seeded winner will advance to the 2-3-6 side of the bracket, the lowest to the 1-4-5.

Troy is #6
UTA #11 and Arkansas State #12 are out.

Texas state went 15-0 on the road in the belt ...wow

None of those 5 series were against teams in the top half of the league. Couldn’t have drawn up a better schedule. 15-0 on the road is still impressive though

This is the best I’ve ever seen the belt from top to bottom. I’d say 7 of the 10 teams could win this tournament. Really hoping it’s the 4 seed…

Its the most competitive for sure. Lots of older kids with the extra year on rosters. The bottom is still the bottom as far as Rpi goes.

While Texas State's 15-0 road record in conference is impressive, they got the Cajuns, Georgia Southern, South Alabama and Coastal at home and missed Troy completely.

They got road series wins at Georgia State (#7), App State (#9), ULM (#10) and the two that didn't qualify for the tournament in UTA and stAte.

I'm going to be very interested to see how that team fares in a spacious park like Montgomery.

They are very good, make no mistake about it. But about 60 of their 79 hr came at home.

And, if they play LR on Wednesday night, assuming Hayden Arnold doesn't start on Tuesday, that'll be a tough first game against the #8 seed. Arnold lost 3-2 in San Marcos.
