It seems that Schulz does not know that the rule changed in 2019. Right-handed pitchers can no longer fake to third base. The way Deggs was arguing, I wonder if he knew.

MLB executed this rule change in 2012/2013.

Strangely enough, I had a disagreement with another LL coach (former MLB pitcher of six seasons ... retired after the 2010 season) who thought that faking to third was never allowed. He told me that he was never taught that and did not believe it. He was evidently not familiar with the 53 play.
