Headlined by first-team selections Sophie Daigle and Yves Cherubin, nine Louisiana Track and Field athletes earned all-conference honors as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Caemon Scott, Chandler Mixon and Marin Barras earned second-team honors while Kashie Crockett, Nathan Fergusson, Rylan Theyard and Taylor Davis made appearances on the third team.

The Ragin' Cajuns claimed their conference selections with podium finishes at last weekend's Sun Belt Outdoor Championships.

Daigle and Cherubin both paced their conference competitors in the 10k (36:37.99) and 110m hurdles (13.71), respectively.

Scott took home silver in the 400m while Mixon finished second in the Decathlon. Barras took second in the javelin with a mark of 46.64m.

Crockett, Fergusson, Theyard and Davis rounded out the podium finishers.

Theyard and Davis each placed third in the triple jump, while Crockett and Fergusson took home bronze in the 200m hurdles and 400m hurdles, respectively.

Cherubin, Scott, Mixon, Fergusson, Davis and Barras will be competing in the NCAA East Preliminary from May 26 – May 28 at Haugh Track & Field in Bloomington, Ind.
