It is college baseball. A decision to go on a play like that is the players decision. The coach does not hold your hand and tell you to go on a play like that. Higgs needs to know his speed and not get too greedy. This should be a tie game. I know our MO is running but we need to be smarter
Agree we are not helping ourselves, but Texas St is a very good team. My daughter goes to Texas State and I have watched them a handful of times this year. To my eye, they are a little better than we are, based upon consistency.
I expect(ed) this series to be back and forth.
