I hate when the umps get fixated on something that takes away from the game on the other hand Troy's coach could have taken her out relief pitcher in never mind the illegal pitches weren't that bad compared to the wild pitches.

I hear that. Feels like even a few years ago the illegal pitches appear in the post season. Impacted the Cajuns a ton, too. I hated that you have a pitcher pitching the same since February and then in May it’s an issue.

In Troy’s case, Johnson has been illegal all year and the coaching staff just accepted it. It’s actually impressive that Troy has won so many games with Johnson.

I actually saw one and I have never been able to tell. She did this before when we played. It must be a very hard habit to get out of.

Is there anyone here who can explain exactly what Johnson does illegally? I’m watching the game on the + but I don’t know enough about softball pitching rules to discern the issue. Commentators are also unhelpful
