Coastal will be a team to keep a close eye on in the conference tournament. All eyes seem to be on TX St and GA Southern, don't count out Gary Gilmore and Coastal.Playing well recently.

Would I be wrong thinking there’s no benefit to playing rice this week?? 2 wins and the rpi still drops.

Very small benefit to beating them twice (only because these are road games). But the risk/reward ratio is simply not there, for sure.

Any chance of a water pipe busting in the irrigation system or heavy rain in Houston tomm and Wednesday

7% chance or rain. Rice has no pitching. Should be a chance for our hitters to pad their stats.

Stupid question: Why is Ga. Southern ranked so high!??

Non conference RPI and SOS. Played Tennessee first weekend of the year. They also have 20 wins against Q1 and Q2 schools

A stunningly high OWP (.5899) ... and very good overall SOS (.5709).

As a comparison, our OWP is .54126 and SOS .53840. LSU has an OWP of .5798.

No. And I plan on attending Wednesday, so don't take away my fun.

Only Cajuns game I attended last year, vs. Southern at the Tigue, weather cancel in the 1st inning.

All comes down to win what’s in front of you. Only thing we can control.
