I loved seeing the sink on Christie's 2-seam. Challenging angle on the pitch (from hitter's perspective) with sink . can throw it for a strike at the knees. We need to see more of him as well. That was a tough situation and he performed admirably.

Yes. And while the three hits (HR and game winning single) are obviously great, what I liked seeing from LaFleur was improved discipline on the breaking stuff as well as fighting some of those pitches off. If he keeps that up, he will naturally see more hard stuff. And he is an SEC hitter against the hard stuff.

Also, where the hell is Drew Shifflet? Dude had his 3 best outings as a Cajun in relief, and he’s vanished from the stat sheet.

We need to keep winning. It is imperative that we are the #1 or #2 seed. 10 of 12 teams make the SBC tournament and the forst day 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9. The winners play vs #1 and #2. The losers are eliminated. That is a huge advantage for the #1 and #2 seeds.
