Troy Wingerter Named President of the National Football Operations Organization
Louisiana Football Chief of Staff Troy Wingerter has been named the President of the National Football Operations Organization (NFOO). Wingerter served as the organization's Vice President last year.
The NFOO is made up of 1,100 operations members at different institutions throughout the country and is led by a committee of representatives from each FBS conference and at-large positions held by members from the FCS, Division II and Division III levels.
"The National Football Operations Organization has done a phenomenal job of creating equality and parity amongst our members and their institutions throughout the college football realm," Wingerter said. "I'm proud to represent such a diverse group of leaders that have such a significant influence on their teams and their student-athletes. Our business is the business of the football student-athlete experience."
