MAC schools only played 6 games otherwise LaTurd would still be around second to last in total revenue

We are #2 in the Sun Belt both Men's and Women's Basketball

    Thought that was interesting

Very. This is a strong indicator that both programs are under performing; men worse than women.

Revenue alone does not give you enough information to come to this conclusion. You also need to get the expenses attributed to these sports. Is some of the revenue from certain sports being spent on other sports?

I agree that the expense side of the equation needs to be known before any definitive statement can be made. I am fairly certain that our budgets are still very high in the conference whether we measure revenue, expenses or both, but I won't state this as a fact

Revenue from football supports most other sports. To the best of my knowledge, basketball revenue is spent on basketball, though I have heard that men's basketball coaches have in the past complained that men's hoops helps support the women's team.

If ODU, JMU, MU and USM were in the conference this year, we would have been 4th in total basketball revenue in the SBC. ODU and JMU both had higher revenue in basketball.

So it appears we were down around $6M-$7M from the previous Non-Covid year.

According to them, the answer is no. Now some RCAF fans for other sports have made claims that football had received resources from other sports, but no one has presented any evidence to support that accusation. RCAF money that is directed to the General Fund can be allocated to any area they want to use the funds. Obviously monies donated to specific RCAF Funds can not. So how one defines using money money from other programs matters.
