I wonder if Mylik Wilson’s 2nd trip to the portal is connected to the Morris move.

Morris will parlay that move to Ole Miss to a head coaching job somewhere within 2 years. We had him and just needed to let Marlin go, probably keeping Akwuba and likely securing
a return to the kind of basketball we expect at UL, not to mention reinvigorating our fan base. Now we have a lame duck coach with a 1 year contract and no top assistant coach. Who would want to coach here in this scenario unless he thinks he can take over the reigns in a year? Oh wait, we just had that person and now he is gone.

Maybe Morris returns after a year.

I encourage anyone to go back and watch the coaches on the bench last year. Hardin always has the look that his dog just died. Murphy looks like he’s debating on if he should take a dump in his seat or ask Bob if he can go to the restroom. Morris was the only one with any kind of emotion and now he’s gone. Fun times ahead.

We don't want Brock Morris to be our head coach. His reputation isn't exactly sterling around here.
