How was the trip itself? Did team fly to st louis and take bus or train to the other stops?
Fly separately to all? Going straight from Indiana to next conf series, by plane or bus? etc, etc, etc… Did they swing by any interesting sites? Arches, Willis tower (sears tower), wrigley field, Lake Michigan, TD Jesus? etc etc

As far as the team, they were not geographically close to South Bend or Chicago. It’s a two hour drive from Champaign to Chicago. Fans that went might of thou.
