He is a grad transfer but will still need a waiver since he has already transferred. I copied and pasted the official NCAA terminology earlier in this thread.

Unless the school has enough money to grease palms for a hardship waiver He will get an NIL at either of his choices. That is a major factor in his departure. He is also closer to his Alabama home at Ole Miss.
