The stallions game had a pretty nice crowd from what I could tell

Do they really expect the folks in Birmingham to fill the stadium all day long? Probably not. Very strange to see such a big stadium empty. Kind of like when I went to a Tulane game. I enjoyed the game and hope it is successful this time.

Dugas could have been a Cajun. Coach Hud or none of his assistants paid him a visit (dude lived 10 minutes from Cajun Field). He went to LA Tech and became a freshman All-American.

He was offered multiple times, HUD wanted his commitment, even offering his best friend Rose in a package deal.He had offers from UL, Tech and UCF, but LSU asked him to wait and they might have an offer or greyshirt opportunity. HUD got ____ed the last time he came in on an unofficial when Dugas told him he wanted to wait until January to make his decision, so he pulled his offer because his ego was hurt. Dugas was turned off by Hud, and Tech pushed hard for him. Of course getting your butt kicked at home by Tech didn't help his cause as well.

I talked to Coach Faulk multiple times, even had him on my radio show at the time. Once Hud offered Rose, he expected Dugas to commit and the way he handled it after he was told no several times was why it ended badly. That one was all on Hudspeth.
