Thread: Anyone Else Enjoyed All 3 Streamed At ASU Last Weekend?

Tough to get to the Tigue when you live in Dallas. It just sucks to see other schools with supposedly much less resources, fan base, tradition, etc. broadcast complete series, when we can’t. I’d understand if it was still 2015, but it’s not. Everyone has caught up to ESPN+ and we are falling behind

Football coaches have always said they would play in Siberia at 2am to get their product out on the airwaves into the public’s living rooms. And you are saying you wish our university wouldn’t show off our great facility and atmosphere to the world. A relatively cheep 3 plus hour commercial. Very small way of thinking. The broadcast isn’t for the locals.

First of all, We don’t have an attendance problem in baseball or softball. Secondly, as a season ticket holder I paid to see every home game and I should be able to. If it’s about money, raise the price so we can produce every home game. Life doesn’t always allow people to be at the field for every home game in a 56 game season but at least if it’s streamed, I would have the opportunity to watch every home game, like I pay to do. Lastly, we should be putting our product and grand on display as much as possible, if nothing else for recruiting. I’ve also never understood the small time mindset of trying to force people into a stadium. Can you not enjoy the game yourself? Do you need to be packed into a crowd in order to enjoy a game?

Not true. Admittedly, the number of others who would watch is low.
I don't watch baseball, but I have watched at least parts of quite a few SBC softball games this year which did not include the Cajuns.

Cajun Field isn't a great facility.

Maggard went way over budget so his office was moved under the direction of Martin Hall.

Martin Hall thinks they are saving money by broadcasting fewer games.

Not true when I get home from the Tigue or after a Cajuns game is done streaming on a Saturday or Sunday I watch espn + until the last west coast game is done streaming. Especially on Sunday afternoon on the patio when there is nothing else going on.

The football reference was coaches in general not Cajuns coaches. The facilities reference was ML Tigue Moore field at Russo park reference. Hope that clears it up.
