What I'm talking about instead of hiring 2 guys for TV just let your radio commentary be the TV commentary as well. Just making sure we are talking about the same thing?

Pretty sure it was that way in Troy. I know it was that way in Ruston on the CUSA Network and Learfield handles their radio broadcast.

Oh, I misunderstood. Hasn't been discussed. Since it's only going in house, I'm guessing they are giving some guys an opportunity for some experience.

If that's the case, I wholeheartedly support it. (USL) Broadcasting department jump started many a career in this market.

Yes. But my thoughts are about saving a few bucks and not just being in house. It would seem to me with all that was in place for the in house broadcast it wouldn't have taken much more to do all 3 on the + network instead of just doing 1. That is the reasoning for my question. Not for in house broadcasting, but for broadcasting out. You and Brad are already there doing the game so commentator cost wouldn't change for TV. It is really puzzling as to why with all those cameras in place we don't do all 3 like our peers do?

This has been tweaked and twerked and analyzed up and down, costs squeezed and massaged and in the end there has really been no plausible reason given why all of the home baseball games are not streamed.

In fact, the more that information has been provided the more it all points towards it being irreprehensible that these games are not streamed on ESPN +.

Only on the cameras. If I remember correctly they are in place for the TrackMan System. It is for post-game analysis by the team. I believe they are still being used and are different than the ESPN+ cameras.

I’m not sure what the trackman system is. I do know that when in the stadium club on Saturday it looked no different than watching any game at home on ESPN+

Look at the highlight of this catch in center field on the replay it actually had the ESPN logo swoosh through the screen before. Appears everything was in place.

I believe you mean incomprehensible. Maybe inexcusable. Whatever it is, it’s BS.
