You think it is bad now, just wait for what is coming down the line for RCAF. Everyone is going to love it, eye roll, sarcasm off.
You mean my sense of the RCAF becoming as relevant as the old RCC now that Maggard seems to be under T-Joe's thumb?

I like to have the game streaming even when at the game so when there are close plays and other issues on the field, you have replay and discussions.
Your reasons for having the games streaming has no outcome on the game. As a fan you having replay means nothing.

Meh I only gave $100 to RCAF this year. The rest will go to the specific sports that deserve it.

Lanny cut out MBB a long time ago.

How did it negatively effect you?
    Have a great life!

If that money was used to broadcast games where would Marlin’s $600k salary come from? Don’t want to risk having him hired away to another program….

The secret to having a finanacially successful magazine, newspaper, radio program, or TV broadcast is having motivated media content salespeople on staff.

Subsidizing a media content sales force is where you start.

Two bits per ticket sold will do the trick

We are not operating at a deficit at all. On paper, it shows that we are. But the funding is setup in a very complex way. The foundation doesn't report a lot of Athletic spending as athletic spending. This was explained to me someone on the Foundation board.

Small time thinking. Every time it’s streamed it’s being played at corner bar, legends, Pete’s etc...you know potential fans (money)
I tend to lean towards the "get your ass to the ball park" crowd, but I will say this: Your scenario is certainly valid. In fact, I'd bet I've gotten more people to go to Cajuns games by simply having our games on at parties, family gatherings, holidays, etc. There's really no reason why we can't have both.

This is separate from Melrock's comment (I think), but the RCAF is getting a total overhaul. Ground up start over. (You can thank the people that hired Harris & De Leon for that).
I'm not 100% sure what's next but I'm 80% it will be totally controlled by The Foundation. No more shell staff. I think their operations & funding mechanisms will be much more limited in scope. A bureaucrat buffet.

I'm not sure the RCAF can get any more incompetent or feckless. So maybe this isn't the catastrophe that it seems like it is... But it certainly feels bad.

Change your 80% to 100% from the word around the campfire.
