    . . . I usually quit giving clicks to things which are not to my liking . . . but no . . .

Is the Advertiser still the newspaper of record?

If so, there seems to be dereliction of duty.

I think it’s the advocate now.

The advocate is the official newspaper for Ragin' Cajuns athletics.

The problem isn't the Advertiser. And, it certainly isn't Cory Diaz.

It's corporate media. In this case, Gannett.

Gannett cares about clicks on social media directing people to their on line edition. They don't care where they come from as long as the number is large.

Gannett tells Cory what to cover. I think he personally would love to give more coverage to the Cajuns, but the other guys (and Mulkey) get more clicks.

(Personally I think Cory is an excellent writer. This isn't his fault.)

Well they lost my clicks forever. I knew the situation, but didn’t realize they had stopped posting anything on UL basketball. Last article on anything UL seems to be from Feb. 2nd and it isn’t basketball. Glad LSU losing 10 in a row is better for their business model. That about sums it up.

    . . . But you continue to click . . . and complain, of course . . .

Dude, Please. You're an idiot that doesn't even bother to go to games. You don't get to complain about the complaining.

. . . I was there Thursday and Saturday so get your facts straight before you come up huffing and puffing . . . and be careful of your standard . . . there were more people posting here saying that they did not attend than attending . . .

The title of this thread begs the question, isn’t “Daily Advertiser” and “stupidity” redundant?

I don’t click the advertiser much but when I do it usually says you need a subscription to view the content. If they are after clicks you would think they’d let you view what you clicked on.
