The majority of the Advertiser's income comes from advertisers.

The majority of advertisers are business owners.

The majority of business owners in Acadiana attended Louisiana.

The Advertiser is brain dead.

And the majority of those businesses are TAF supporters.

He is not that over worked. From the email I received from him when I complained, the lack of UL coverage is a directive from his bosses. Don't expect anything to change

From the sports news cast in NOLA their women are outdrawing their men. At least in the first 5 rows. Reminded me of a UL-LoTec game I went to in the Marty era. After the women game their arena seating lost about 30% of their fans.

What a joke of a local paper. LSU everywhere and not a single article on UL basketball.

I know several have written to them and gotten the same pass the buck answer. So that seems like a dead end.

Aside from just not subscribing, what other recourse does a community have to get their local paper to cover local sports news?

I used to like getting the advertiser. I have a ton of papers saved from big UL wins. It’s been some time since I’ve added a new one to the stack.
