I'm New. But I think I know what you told us
Plenty of things to analyze and question over those last couple innings. Do you let Schultz throw again to the guy who hit a rock a foot foul in his last at bat and has more RBIs than hits? Do you play 3B up to start T9? Do you bunt over Kimple? Those are all hindsight things. Frustrating but ultimately could get over. Damn laziness isn’t one of those things. Think I’ll just enjoy my Sunday at home pending lineup tomorrow.
Pitching gave the team a chance again. Indifferent defense, yet even more poor baserunning and continued weak hitting made the difference tonight. 3 runs won't win many games.
We are last or next to last in the league for batting avg., walks, doubles and on base %.

Collectively i do think they care. But im sure its frustrating for those who continue to see some guys not producing. The second base position has been a revolving door and has produced a sub .200 batting average. Let that sink in. We have about 5 guys who at this point of the season is still hitting in .200 or below and several regulars hitting in the .240-.260 range. That is not very good. Bottom line is we are a few players short offensively, defensively, and on the mound. No other way to put it. Therefore, no matter how much effort we put out i dont know how we can expect to go on a serious run this year. If we win 2/3 on the weekends that would be a success
