Armstead is really 6"4.5, he was more athletic than Max. Max is 6'6, 305 right now, not quite as athletic. Max needs to get stronger in his upper body, he got pushed around at times at the Senior Bowl by stronger linemen. Right now, he's projected as a 3rd round pick. He could sneak into the 2nd round with another good pro day.

I don't agree with this statement at all. For the last 10-15 years, they have been more than a respectable product on the field. Do they miss on players, sure, but avoiding in-state players is hugely exaggerated.

Yeah, T-stead ran a 4.65 laser time at the combine (freakish time at that size)

    Mitchell ran a 5.33

Not saying that means one will be a better pro or not- just pointing that out

Saying Max needs to get stronger is a fair statement. I think he was also a little bit slow to start the game. But as he got more playing time & got into the flow of the game he got faster. He also looked like a better fit at right tackle than left tackle. I think he will end up being a utility guy for the first year, or two. Then he will really show his ability IF he sticks it out & stays healthy.

I think I heard Ringo is sticking around with the Saints. He did some good things last season. Whatever may happen with Kamara could drastically change the Saints needs.

Mostly LSU fans complain constantly about the Saints not drafting more Tigers.

I'm from a football family. my father was a high school coach. Football was a large part of my life growing up. I love football. Sunday was for watching the Saints I.Loved.The.Saints.......Having said all that the NFL and Pro sports in general have been taken over by Anti American
wife beating BLM narcissist reprobates. Why would anyone want to watch and by doing that support such behavior? Will never watch a NFL game again....EVER! PS....Drew Brees can kiss my patootie....jus sayin'

What everyone sees in Willis is potential and upside. His failures in 2021 were because of a terrible o line. Willis will play in the league for a long time. Maybe not as a starter but as a backup for sure. He is too talented not to get a chance. But if hr goes to a team with a suspect o line that could be his downfall. Willis is a gunslinger and it gets him in trouble. But his arm strength, athletic and speed can not be argued. He reminds scouts of lamar jackson. Not saying he is just saying that is what the scouts see and in this time of teams wanting athletic QBs Willis has the biggest upside in the draft. That being said it is all a crapshoot and we won’t know until he is on the field. Also i don’t give 2 _____s about the NFL.
