    Good for you.

After watching Willis playing with the “yips” against the Cajuns, I cannot for the life of me picture drafting him high. I’m thankful the Saints apparently have the QBs they want.

Thank you, I was wondering & wanted to ask was I the only one who thought this way. I don't think the guy will be that good at the NFL level. Every time he made a play it was to a wide open guy. But Seattle & Atlanta have basically given their hands away. They both need a QB.

The only times he played against a D worth a damn last year was ole miss and UL. He got sacked like 16 times in those two games. I put that more on his O line than anything else. I didn’t think he was as great as advertised before our game and I still don’t think he is. It’ll be interesting to see him operate behind an NFL line

All based upon projection and upside. He's got all the physical tools and scouts drool over those types of talents. He's no different than Trey Lance, not close to being ready to play in the league.

I think the Saints will draft Trevor Penning with their number one pick. Then I believe the Saints will take the best available WR/ TE with their 2nd pick. I look for them to take the tight end from Virginia with that pick. Then I look for them to draft either the running back from Florida then Max Mitchell one way or the other with their next two picks. Are there any other Saints fans that pull for UL out there?
Since the Saints now have a need at safety, I would like to see them take a chance on Percy in the later rounds. I agree that WR can wait till the 2nd round, and they will probably go OT in round 1. An extra corner, and a TE would be nice. It would be awesome to see Max in a Saints uniform!

Been using the PFF mock simulator. Was able to get Percy late twice, and both times got an A+ for the pick.

Likewise, got Max in the third once and got an A+ for that as well.

Max is similar to Armstead coming out of college; tall, lean and athletic. I believe we got Armstead in the 3rd round, too.

Armstead is really 6"4.5, he was more athletic than Max. Max is 6'6, 305 right now, not quite as athletic. Max needs to get stronger in his upper body, he got pushed around at times at the Senior Bowl by stronger linemen. Right now, he's projected as a 3rd round pick. He could sneak into the 2nd round with another good pro day.

I don't agree with this statement at all. For the last 10-15 years, they have been more than a respectable product on the field. Do they miss on players, sure, but avoiding in-state players is hugely exaggerated.

Yeah, T-stead ran a 4.65 laser time at the combine (freakish time at that size)

    Mitchell ran a 5.33

Not saying that means one will be a better pro or not- just pointing that out
