I don't think that's the case. When he was hired, Matt said he would handle discipline on a case by case basis. I think the person who suggested that was thinking about Robe's policy.

He may be right. We'll see.

This is a tough one for Deggs, IMO. What he decides and what I assume will be the first and more public discipline of a player will set a tone. It just happens to be the best pitcher on the team. ��

I hope that’s one thing that doesn’t factor in to his decision at all. I don’t care if it’s 3 weeks or a year, but I hope he treats him the same as he would anyone else in the same spot.

If a young man is willing to work for a second chance, then he should earn it and given the opportunity. I don't know enough to think otherwise at this point.

Bonds was in uniform and in the dugout today. I spotted him a couple of times from my seats. Sporting fresh clean haircut I might add. Not that, that matters.

Here’s my opinion on the Bonds situation. Kid made a mistake that many of us have also made. Deggs is the right man to be a mentor & guide Bonds through this situation.
