That was discussed in a round about way a few weeks back but I didn’t want to say his name, as he hadn’t made his commitment public at that time. A funny story, he was on a visit at Dallas Baptist the weekend before he committed and my son kept calling him and asking him what he was doing, knowing where he was, and saying you don’t want to go there.

MAT I was listening to RR pod cast on my drive home and you were talking about that guy in the baseball locker room and who would it be to step up and you were having a hard time coming up with one. This kid has potential of becoming "that guy". He may not be that guy in the locker room on day one, but I could see him growing into that role. To quote Deggs when he committed "I can't wait to get you in my locker" Yep. Exact words. Deggs knows what he doesn't have in the locker room and what Peyton could bring.
