Doesn't RPI factor in schedule strength and record more or less by default?

It is interesting (to a few) South Alabama went 1-2 here and RPI went from 62 to 50. UL schedule strength at work, I am guessing? Our RPI went from 79 to 59.

Our schedule strength may help us keep climbing, if we do our part.

After losing at Nichols I was not well. Deggs said the conf season is 30 games, not 3. He is correct.

Again, some look at baseball with a football mentality. And, most of the time, that's what causes "debate" on this board.

Personally, I don't find it appealing when someone makes a judgment about a player or game based on the first inning. It would be great if we'd let the game unfold a bit before criticizing. But I know that's not going to happen.

I can confirm Jack Clark is no longer with the program.

It’s not just 3 games in May?

Actually, the last few years it has come down to that. Perhaps not this year. (Four games if you want to be technical.)

And the selection committee took schedule into account when putting us at #6.

That was a little later in the year, Louisiana was 6th in the RPI at the time you speak of and ranked 7th in the polls.

No Turbine. We were ranked #1 in all polls at the conclusion of the conference tournaments. Collegiate Baseball was the only one that ranked us #1 prior to the conclusion of the conference tournaments.

Slight jump in RPI to 53 after the win last night. Keep winning

LR, like us, had an opportunity to bring home a big RPI win for the conference last night in Fayetteville. It was 6-2 in the 5th. Arkansas stormed back with some guerrilla ball and ended up scoring like 15 unanswered runs. Bummer.
