Louisiana football offensive lineman Tyler Brown has announced plans to enter the transfer portal.

"Thank you UL from the bottom of my heart for everything! I am beyond grateful to the city! To the coaches! Fans! And especially my teammates! I will be transferring with 4 years of eligibility remaining," Brown posted Thursday on Twitter.

According to Coach Norrid, he was working his way back from an injury last season and was losing reps this spring because he's not physically ready.

I would love to give the kid that moved up the depth chart notoriety! Obviously, I didn’t know the circumstances of Mr. Brown. Therefore, I’m asking why the young man left….damn, bro.
