Troy had all 3 games on espn + we have only one, small time very Monroeish. We used to be the leader and innovator in the sun belt now we act like Little Rock and Monroe. Doc Maggard seems to be going backwards.

We overachieve at home. Winning the series would surprise me though. Getting swept would not.

Its time for a players only meeting after the bus ride home from Thibideaux. Lock the door and get it fugured out.

I was thinking Deggs needed to turn on the lights when the bus got home and have a “practice” they remember for the rest of their lives.

Offensively, i think they are close. How good can they be? I dont know but i do know adding Max back into the lineup will help and i think the musical chairs position wise will calm down. I firmly believe that could help mentally for guys to settle in and we could see offensive numbers increase. However that doesnt fix the baserunning mistakes. That will be what it is as long as we are over aggressive on the bases. You just cant continue to get picked off first base or try to outrun a throw from SS to 3rd. Thats just stupid. Pitching has got to become consistent. If it doesnt, it will be ugly. The only thing that makes me optimistic is they have all shown flashes of being able to do it. How to we get them to be the same guy each night out is the million dollar question. That is what needs to get figured out. Despite showing flashes it gotta get better quick to compete in this league this yr. Everybody in the country has a Friday arm. We need to figure out who that is for us. If it was me id move Tally to friday. I hate using him as a starter just bc hes so versatile out the pen. He can be used twice on a weekend in short work or be a long reliver to get u to the end of a game if a starter gets roughed up early. I think hes extremely valuable in that regard but he may need to be a starter on this team. Outside of one outing hes been very steady. Walks and hit batters by this staff has basically taken us out of over half of the games we have lost. The good news is its not as bad as it was early in the yr. We may get by against teams the bottom of the league but clubs like Tx St, Coastal, and S. Alabama will beat the ____ out of us. When pitch and play defense we can be good but it all starts on the bump. I hope we figure SOMETHING out this weekend and take 2-3…that would be a great start. So just how close are we?
    Fri- Tally
    Sat- TBA
    Sun- Wilson

So Deggs has been dumped twice this season. How many more freebee’s does he get.

Numbers say pitching average, offense terrible. Hell, considering SOS, pitching is statistically above average

    Batting Avg: .247 (228th of 293 nationally, 12th SBC)

On base percentage: .326 (262th of 293 nationally, 12th in SBc)

Scoring: 5 runs per game (235th of 293 nationally, 11th in SBc)

    ERA 4.64 (100th of 293 nationally, 6th SBc)

    Hits allowed per 9 innings 8.37 (75th of 293 national, 6th SBC)
