Robe left the cupboard very bare, by our standards. He remained way to loyal to an assistant who wasn’t delivering. It has set this program back. That’s what we are seeing right now.

You know ive never heard Deggs say that we are not fundamentally sound…ever. Maybe he has but i havent heard it. And it is so obvious we lack fundamentals with defensive errors, less than adequate bunt execution, and base running mistakes(pick offs). All of that is part of the game no doubt but we make the same mistakes over and over again.

Last weekend a sr. tried to advance from 2B to 3B with the hard ground ball in front of him. He was out by 15 feet. A 10 year old can be coached not to do that. The excuse cannot be "Hey, we are aggressive".

Thats the unafraid to crash and burn mentality that is now the philosophy here. If you dont have those qualities you sit the bench

I also have not heard him say it. As Dad and others have pointed out, little league players know better than to make a lot of the mistakes we seem to make on a nightly basis. That’s the part that concerns me most. And as the season goes on we’re not improving on those things…. At all.

Name me a team that replaced over TWENTY players from the previous year that's really kickin it right not. Last I checked, Troy wasn't one of them. Robe and his staff at the time left this program almost in the cellar of a very weak conference. Let's call a spade a spade. Rest Tony's soul but this program was spiraling before his passing. He kept a cancer around this place way too long and he knew it. So long that the stench still lurks around here. So go ahead and make believe this team is not rebuilding. Can't wait to hear you tearing into Desormeaux next football season if he doesn't meet "your expectations".

Speaking of football, Billy Napier went 11-3 in year two with almost 30 less scholarships than his peers. He also totally rebuilt the offense, broke in a brand spanking new QB (bridged the gap with a JUCO walk-on) and dominated recruiting in his second offseason.

    Please stop embarrassing yourself.

LOL ! You never answer a statement directly. Guess what, Napier is GONE. Back to baseball moron. Give me a team that has replaced over 20 players from a previous season that did really well the following season. You can't so you switch to a totally different sport. Typical. Let's talk 2018, 2019 baseball. You won't go there. I'll wait.

Wait, wait, wait . . . this board is acknowledging that Levi Lewis was a Louisiana QB integral in the success of CBN here . . .
