    Jay said on the radio TD passed away today. For you younger guys he was the PA announcer here before he retired and moved to Florida

    No way. That makes me sad. I loved that guy as a commentator. Especially the voice of the Gators. Terrible news.

    Before the announcer gig, he was a long-time waiter at Lafonda.

    Yes. He did the morning show on 97.3 The Dawg with Bruce Michaels for a number of years.

    I always enjoyed that he would come over and do the Sunbelt Tournament at Lakefront in New Orleans after he had moved to Florida. Of course he had to be neutral but if you paid close attention I think there was a little extra umph in his voice on calls for the Cajuns.
