Cajuns stay at 38

Good news with a win over UTRVG who was only 2-10 on the season the Cajuns stay put at #38 in the newest ITA tennis rankings. I had concerns they would fall due to the weakness of there only opponent this week. Here are some other rankings for us to keep an eye on.

Georgia state checks in at #75 for the first time this season another SBC team is in the top 75.

ETSU slips from 73 to 74.

UTSA slips from 60 to 70 this week.

FAU slips from 54 to 67 this week.

Future SBC conference mate ODU slips from 48 to 60 this week.

Tulane moves up from 62 to 57 this week.

LSU moves up from 50 to 44 this week.

Texas Tech slips from 33 to 41 this week.

Auburn who’s number 2 player used to be our #1 player slips from 25 to 1 spot behind us at 39. Bet Jan Galka wishes he would have stayed.

Oklahoma moves up from 37 to 35 this week.

Baylor who is still showing as postponed on our schedule slips from 5 to 6 this week.

Oregon who also has one of our former top players slips from 44 to 45.


Cajuns have a tough week this weekend. They face a pretty good UTA team on Friday and nationally ranked OU on Sunday.

I've been keeping up with Cajuns Tennis a couple of years now, and I did not in the least bit expect them to be one of the top ranked teams in the nation, but I love that we're 14-1 and I hope we continue to dominate! Geaux Cajuns! And like MAT said, I appreciate the knowledge lol.
