    Supreme Court here they geaux…. That was actually a big part of THE U’s defense, when they claimed that Luther Campbell was not an alum of Miami, nor a booster, so it was a loophole, don’t think he was ever found guilty of a violation, or at least their sanctions were not as strong as they could have been.

    Only alum and boosters were forbidden from giving impermissible benefits unless they since closed that loophole? Now the player could still lose eligibility, but players often lose eligibility without a violation against the university.
