Looks like steady rain by 6PM
Honestly, they are an enigma to me. While their record is better than ours, they have not played near the quality of teams that we have played. Their losses have been close ones to better competition than they have beaten. Their two best players are by far their left fielder and their catcher. This is a series we should win. That being said, we will need more bats to step up, and our pitchers adjust to their new roles.
The best thing that happened to us was Marusak getting hurt, and it is also the worst thing that happened to us. We have seen Will Veillon step up. Heath Hood is starting to get hot. He has had hits in five of his last eight games and had a two-hit game last time out. Hood, in my opinion, is really the X-factor on this team. If he gets hot at the plate, we will be strong. He has one of the best gloves on the team, and that is saying a lot. Look for Tyler Robinson to get hot this weekend. Robinson has not had an extra-base hit this season. This time last year, he had four. We need him on base. Rincones has been another player with a great glove. Hit over .300 in JC. We have seen in the past that JC guys take a while for their bats to get hot. He is another guy that can make havoc on the base paths.
Probably more than you wanted to know.

Frequently hitting round baseballs with round bats is difficult.
Not at all! Thanks for the breakdown!
I took a glance at their schedule and you’re right, they beat the teams they were supposed to and lost to the teams that would challenge them…much like Louisiana.
You’re right, our schedule has been much more difficult thus far. We shall see!
