Well, when it comes to media, if you want to stay, you better play.
News, weather, sports…it doesn’t matter.
We will know more come April 1st or after.
Yes, I mean no. My comment "before getting motivated" shows the losing record was at prior point in time.
Speaking of prior points in time... before the "everyone gets a trophy" era the basketball team would not have even made the conference tourney and would still have a losing record.

And one poster showed the level of context as to the answer to your question as winning record could be dissected in a few different ways, however, the bigger question is what does a winning record have to do with anything? It seems to be your defense to something I cannot comprehend? I mean, Ok, if Marlin won 52% of his games this year what is your stance? We went under .500 in conference (fact) and lost to Jackson State at home (fact) and finished 8th in final standings while projected to finish 2nd. Yet, you seem to be contending with certain posters who are calling for Marlin's dismissal. Why?
What does winning record have to do with anything? Nothing! Haha.
I was factually responding to a post questioning if this roster had a losing record. Not conference record, not OOC record, just record in general. That means the entire season. And accordong to the NCAA, UL did not have a losing record this season. If the poster would’ve specified his question to our conference record, then my response would be “that is correct. We had a losing record.”
Again, it’s not my defense - it’s a fact!
My stance however is that .516 winning percentage is not good enough and we need new direction in basketball.
