This game (a win) was worth +$500,000.00 to Marlin.

This is what I've been saying for a few years now. The talent level has just degraded to the point where it's unwatchable. There are hardly any true basketball players with basketball skills. They just don't practice basic skills enough to get good at them.

…….I guess a point I could bring up is the strategy as time runs down and we are behind say 7 -10 points…..only chance are hitting 3s and we are running clock trying to get 2 points inside…..the math doesn’t work when 3 possessions are needed with 3s and we are working for 2s the only way to have a chance is if we could hit the 3s! If we don’t make them we lose anyway!

Congratulations to the Cajuns for their performance in 4days in March. It was entertaining.

The Ragin' Cajuns bid to make the NCAA Tournament comes up just short.

thanks, i went back to the tape and he definitely was “trapped” for more than five seconds. a.is that still a rule
    b. does rule apply in backcourt
    c. does count start immediately or only after ref realizes player may be trapped, which could take a good two seconds, in which case i dont think he was trapped for more than 7 seconds?

conservatively he was trapped 5.9 seconds, and possibly up to 7.5

Had to laugh when I read this on the GAST board. Of course the discussion quickly went downhill, would of copied it but Turbine has enough to delete lately.

The players won this championship. It had nothing to do with coaching. In my opinion Lanier still sucks. Can't wait to see what he does next year when the majority of CRH's players are gone.

In this case the 5 second count was irrelevant because he definitely travelled, and the ref chose not to call it.
