Thread: SBC MBB Tournament: Louisiana 67, UTA 64

All stats very close but one. 16-9. Our TOs to theirs. We made two more FTs and had one more 3 and they had one more 2 pointer. Three points. And as pointed out game was over until it almost wasn’t. Really frustrating to watch.

Was just before the time out. He was on Azore, might of been a decoy move on Marlin's part, let them think they had an easy advantage.

    67-64 final Cajuns

That's nuts. I had to turn it off to take a call and then just saw the final score. Thrilled we won and gave UTA a parting gift for their trip to the WAC, but man. That was nuts. It was a double digit lead for a lot of the first 30 minutes.

  8. Default ESPN 1420 UL Defense Key In 67-64 Win Over UTA to Advance in SBC Tournament

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns basketball team used great defense and three-point shooting to beat the UT-Arlington Mavericks and advance in the SBC Tournament.

Now that’s some funny stuff. Texas State is on a roll.

Even funnier, 8 win LR (12th seed) takes out the Jags.

Obviously I always want the Cajuns to win but it’s even more this year just to see the melt if we were to actually pull this tournament out of our ass

I too want the Cajuns to win. A win that would force Louisiana to yet another extension. That’s a bitter pill for an all too infrequent championship. But as I often said hopefully he never loses another game. But not for a RP meltdown
