The Best Stop Supermarket: Official Boudin Provider of Louisiana Athletics

The Louisiana Department of Athletics, Ragin' Cajuns Sports Properties (RCSP) and The Best Stop Supermarket have linked up for an exciting new partnership that will make the Cajun grocery store the official boudin provider of the Ragin' Cajuns, it was announced on Wednesday.

A staple in Acadiana since 1986, The Best Stop has been serving up classic Cajun meats for Ragin' Cajuns fans and will continue to be a proud supporter of the Department of Athletics with the agreement.

"We are excited to announce this one-of-a-kind partnership with The Best Stop as our official boudin partner," Ragin' Cajuns Sports Properties General Manager Brian Bille said. "Over the past year, our team has worked hard to enhance and grow this partnership, culminating in official status and delivering opportunities to engage with our fans."

The country store will be on location at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park as proud sponsors of the weekend series against Southern Miss (March 4-6).

"As long time Ragin' Cajuns fans and sponsors, we are thrilled about growing The Best Stop's partnership with Louisiana Athletics as the Official Boudin of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns," Penny Gennuso said. "We are looking forward to feeding lots of hungry fans."

On Saturday, March 5, members of The Best Stop's team will be under the oak tree outside Russo Park handing out free boudin and will be giving out free koozies to the 1,000 fans who enter the ballpark. The Best Stop staff will also be throwing out the first pitch at the contest.
